Tower Mounted Solutions RNS offer a wide range of Tower Mounted Amplifiers, including twin and Dual Duplexed units, the TMA function is to Amplify the uplink signals which balances the coverage areas and via their filters separate the Rx and Tx signals. To inject the DC voltage supply into the feeder we supply a Bias Tee for both indoor and outdoor applications. The TMA's that we offer provide additional coverage security through a fail safe feature that in the unlikely event of a TMA failure. The unit is by-passed and the site reverts back to its original status before the TMA's were installed, at the same time an alarm notification is activated via the PDU (power distribution unit ) and LED's indicate the malfunction.
