FREQUENCY SHIFT REPEATERS

Frequency Shifting Repeaters (FSR)
implement point-to-point or point-to-multipoint architecture through
the use of frequency-shifting techniques. They overcome the
isolation problem between donor antenna and service antenna compared
with conventional repeaters.
- 2 or 4 channels
- 33 or 43 dBM/ch (4ch, 40dBm/ch)
- Wireless or direct connection
to BTS
- 105dB maximum gain
- Can be fitted with integrated
antennas
- Internal Combining version
available (-3dB Power)
RNS's frequency shift repeater is an ideal solution to enhance signal strength to areas with relatively weak signal and extend the coverage areas where fiber optic cable can
not reach. With the frequency shill capability, antenna isolation problem can be avoided.
RNS's frequency shift repeater consists of two units. The master unit SC3 connects to
the BTS, converts the signal from working channels to unused channels at a different
frequency, and transmits to the remote unit through the donor-link antenna. The remote unit S47 receives the signals, reconverts to the original frequency, amplifies and transmits
the signal to the coverage area.
RNS's frequency shift repeater is an ideal solution that will cut the overall cost of signal coverage extension without the added need of implementing more BTS sites. This equipment can be applied to much larger areas including car parks, tunnels, highways, small islands, tourist spots, or rural villages.
