Bertha Williams has been an integral part of Radio Network Solutions since August 2016, starting as a Health & Safety Administrator and progressing to her current role as Occupational Health & Safety Manager. With 8 years of experience in the field, Bertha ensures compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993 and Construction Regulation 2014, alongside maintaining adherence to both client and RNS standards. She is responsible for drafting and implementing health and safety policies, conducting audits of subcontractors and ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
Her notable contributions include work on prestigious projects such as the Parliament National Assembly, Stats SA, the Home Affairs Ministry, Gautrain, as well as Airports Company. Bertha thrives on the challenge of keeping projects on track by preventing delays through careful planning and execution.
Committed to personal and professional growth, Bertha has completed several courses including the Introduction to SAMTRAC (NOSA), a Safety Officer Course (NOSA) and the Legal Liability for Senior Management Programme (Labour Department). She also holds SAIOSH Technical Membership and has attended several client and industry-specific workshops.
Bertha stays motivated by the vital role her department plays in the successful completion of projects, focusing on doing things right the first time. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books that enhance her knowledge and attending workshops to refine her interpersonal skills.
