Swazi Mobile utilises RNS Towers

During 2017, Radio Network Solutions (RNS) was contracted to supply and install telecommunication towers for Swazi Mobile, a new mobile network provider in Swaziland. Residents and visitors of this picturesque country can now enjoy optimal cell phone coverage and seamless wireless connections.
The project, which started in August 2017, reached it final phase in December 2017 when the RNS team finalised the implementation of the last tower. “We installed the towers across various regions in Swaziland, thereby ensuring good coverage throughout,” explains Richard Hill, RNS Sales Director. “We are proud of our fast turnaround time, and look forward to seeing users experience the new network.”
The project included the installation of 36 and 54 meter lattice towers built to survive extreme weather conditions experienced in the highland areas of Swaziland.
Swaziland is a beautiful country that is landlocked by South Africa. It has four geographical regions and a variety of landscapes, which include mountains, grasslands and rain forests. “Although Swaziland is considered a small country, its people have big hearts,” says Hill. “We are honoured to continuously supply world-class technology to organisations and destinations across Africa.”
